Offshore Requirement and Job Position

Qualification for Offshore Personnel.

Kepada sesiapa yang berminat berkerja dalam bidang Oil and Gas Industry ni or lebih specific dekat pelantar minyak la yang dalam bahasa mat salleh nye Offshore.Dibawah ni aku ada share la beberapa syarat or qualification yang perlu ad untuk seseorang itu layak berkerja di offshore. 

Basic Qualification:

• Mesti berusia 18 tahun keatas......so check dulu umo tu da cukup matang ke belum.
• Physically fit da cukup mantap ke belum...xde manja2 kat sana.
• Medical check-up bebas dari sebarang penyakit yang critical.
• Safety Passport...ni bukan passport yang korg g buat dekat imigresen tu...tu internasional passport.nk pegi oversea boleh la tu...ni oversea lain.seberang laut tapi tengah-tengah laut.

Kalau tak de 4 menda ni nak sampai sane nak jejak kaki kat helideck tu jangan harap la...lagi pedih mau cakap lu olang xlayak nak pegi sane pun.

Ok now sure korg yang xpenah sampai and jejak kaki kat sne nak tau ape je keje yang mamat2 offshore ni buat.So dibawah ni aku share la position untuk construction crew di offshore.Specification ni aku refer Shell Sarawak Berhad.

OFFSHORE CONSTRUCTION MANPOWER

CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDANT

Shall possess a recognized diploma in Engineering or equivalent OR
Shall have at least 15 years construction experience in the Oil and Gas Industries with not less than 8 years in similar Supervisory role
And at least 3 years shall be engaged as Construction Superintendent on WORKBARGE.

CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR

Shall possess a recognized diploma in Engineering or equivalent OR
Shall have at least 12 years construction experience in the Oil and Gas Industries with not less than 5 years in similar Supervisory role
Of which, 8 years shall be on supervisory role
And at least 3 years shall be engaged as Construction Supervisor on WORKBOAT

SHIFT SUPERVISOR

Shall possess a Technical Certificate on Construction or equivalent OR
Shall have at least 8 years construction experience in the Oil and Gas Industries with not less than 3 years shall be on supervisory role

ASSISTANT SHIFT SUPERVISOR

Shall possess a Technical Certificate on Construction or equivalent OR
Shall have at least 5 years construction experience in the Oil and Gas Industries with not less than 3 years as foreman or equivalent

OFFSHORE PLANNER/SCHEDULER

Shall possess a recognized degree in any discipline of Engineering or equivalent
Shall have at least 5 years construction experience
Of which, at least 3 years engaged as Planner or Scheduler

OFFSHORE ADMINISTRATOR

Shall passed SPM with good credit in English Language as a minimum
Shall have at least 5 years experience as Office Administrator

SCAFFOLDING SUPERVISOR

Shall possess valid trade specific certification as detailed in MANDATORY TRAININGS
Shall have at least 10 years working experience on scaffolding WORK
Of which, at least 5 years in supervisory role in offshore scaffolding WORK

RIGGING SUPERVISOR

Shall possess valid trade specific certification as detailed in MANDATORY TRAININGS
Shall have at least 10 years working experience on rigging WORK
Of which, at least 5 years in supervisory role in offshore rigging WORK

BLASTING/PAINTING SUPERVISOR

Shall have certification of IMM Level I
Shall have at least 10 years working experience in blasting and painting WORK
Of which, at least 5 years in supervisory role in offshore blasting and painting WORK

SCAFFOLDING FOREMAN

Shall possess valid trade specific certification as detailed in MANDATORY TRAININGS
Shall have at least 7 years working experience on rigging WORK
Of which, at least 3 years in supervisory role in offshore rigging WORK

RIGGER FOREMAN

Shall possess valid trade specific certification as detailed in PART 7: SPECIFICATIONS
Shall have at least 7 years working experience on scaffolding WORK
Of which, at least 3 years in supervisory role in offshore scaffolding WORK

FITTER FOREMAN

Shall have at least 7 years working experience on marking and fitting of piping and structural WORK
Of which, at least 3 years in supervisory role

WELDER FOREMAN

Shall have at least 7 years working experience on welding WORK
Of which, at least 3 years in supervisory role

ELECTRICAL FOREMAN

Shall have at least 7 years construction experience on electrical WORK
Of which, at least 3 years in supervisory role in offshore electrical WORK

INSTRUMENT FOREMAN

Shall have at least 7 years construction experience on instrumentation WORK
Of which, at least 3 years in supervisory role in offshore instrumentation WORK

MATERIALS COORDINATOR

Shall passed SPM with credit in English language
Shall have at least 8 years working experience in construction materials management
Of which, at least 4 years are in offshore hook-up and commissioning WORK

MATERIALSMAN

Shall passed SPM with credit in English language
Shall have at least 5 years working experience in construction materials management
Of which, at least 2 years are in offshore hook-up and commissioning WORK

RIGGER I

Shall possess valid trade specific certification as detailed in MANDATORY TRAINING
Shall have at least 3 years working experience as rigger in the Oil and Gas Industries
Of which, at least 1 years in offshore WORK

RIGGER II

Shall possess valid trade specific certification as detailed in MANDATORY TRAINING
Shall have at least 5 years working experience as rigger in the Oil and Gas Industries
Of which, at least 3 years in offshore WORK

SCAFFOLDER I

Shall possess valid trade specific certification as detailed in MANDATORY TRAINING
Shall have at least 3 years working experience as scaffolder in the Oil and Gas Industries
Of which, at least 1 years in offshore WORK

SCAFFOLDER II

Shall possess valid trade specific certification as detailed in MANDATORY TRAINING
Shall have at least 5 years working experience as scaffolder in the Oil and Gas Industries
Of which, at least 3 years in offshore WORK

FITTER I

Shall have at least 3 years working experience as pipe and structural fitter in the Oil and Gas Industries
Of which, at least 1 year in offshore hook-up WORK

FITTER II

Shall have at least 5 years working experience as pipe and structural fitter in the Oil and Gas Industries
Of which, at least 3 year in offshore hook-up WORK

INSTRUMENT FITTER

Shall have at least 3 years working experience on instrumentation WORK
Of which, at least 1 years as Instrument Fitter for offshore hook-up and commissioning WORK

INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN

Shall have at least 5 years working experience on instrumentation WORK
Of which, at least 3 years as Instrument Technician for offshore hook-up and commissioning WORK

ELECTRICIAN

Shall have at least 5 years working experience on electrical WORK
Of which, at least 3 years as Electrician for offshore hook-up and commissioning WORK

WELDER II

Shall be qualified to AWS D11 (6GR) for SMAW to the following class of materials: All grades of Carbon Steel and Low Temp Carbon Steel
Shall have at least 5 years welding experience on structural steel
Of which, at least 2 years shall be engaged as structural welder for offshore WORK

WELDER III

Shall be qualified to AWS D11 (6GR), API1104 (6G) and ASME IX (6G) for both SMAW and GTAW to the following class of materials: All grades of Carbon Steel and Low Temp Carbon Steel
Shall have at least 8 years welding experience on structures and piping
Of which, at least 3 years shall be engaged as SMAW and GTAW Welder for offshore WORK

WELDER IV

Shall be qualified to AWS D11 (6GR), API1104 (6G) and ASME IX (6G) for both SMAW and GTAW to the following class of materials: All grades of Carbon Steel, Low Temp Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel including but not limited to 6Moly, SS316 and SS304
Shall have at least 10 years welding experience on structures and piping
Of which, at least 5 years shall be engaged as SMAW and GTAW Welder for offshore carbon steel and stainless steel WORK

WELDER V

Shall be qualified to AWS D11 (6GR), API1104 (6G) and ASME IX (6G) for both SMAW and GTAW to the following class of materials: All grades of Carbon Steel, Low Temp Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel including but not limited to 6Moly, SS316, SS304 & duplex, copper nickel and Inconel/incolloy
825 Shall have at least 12 years welding experience on structures and piping
Of which, at least 6 years shall be engaged as SMAW and GTAW Welder for offshore carbon steel, stainless steel, CRA and copper nickel WORK

BLASTER/PAINTER

Shall have at least 5 years working experience as blaster/painter
Of which, at least 2 years shall be at offshore locations
Firewatcher
Shall possess valid trade specific certification as detailed in MANDATORY TRAINING
Shall have at least 3 years working experience as a firewatcher offshore

MILLWRIGHT

Shall have at least 5 years working experience on mechanical WORK
Of which, at least 3 years as millwright for offshore hook-up and commissioning WORK

MECHANIC

Shall have at least 5 years maintenance experience in repair and service of machineries and equipment
Of which, at least 3 years as Mechanic on WORKBARGE or WORKBOAT

BOLT TENSIONING TECHNICIAN

Shall have at least 5 years hands-on experience in operation of Bolt Tensioning equipment

PNEUMATIC EQUIPMENT TECHNICIAN

Shall have at least 5 years hands-on experience in operation of Cold Cutting, Flange Facing & Hot Tap equipment

POST WELD HEAT TREATMENT (PWHT) TECHNICIAN

Shall have at least 5 years hands-on experience in Post Weld Heat Treatment of piping

GRE TECHNICIAN

Shall have at least 5 years hands-on experience in mark, cut, bevel, fit and connect GRE piping

PLASMA CUTTING TECHNICIAN

Shall have at least 5 years hands-on experience in operation of Plasma Cutting equipment

LV / HV CABLE JOINTER / TERMINATOR

Shall be certified to join MV and HV cables
Shall have at least 5 years experience with the MV / HV cable jointing and termination WORK

POSITIVE PRESSURE (WELDING) HABITAT TECHNICIAN

Shall have at least 5 years working experience at Offshore sites
Shall have at least 3 years working experience on the particular model of Habitat modules at Offshore sites

HIPOT TESTER/TECHNICIAN

Shall be registered with SESCO as a Competent Person to work on High Voltage terminations

BLASTING/PAINTING FOREMAN

Shall have at least 7 years working experience in blasting and painting WORK
Of which, at least 3 years in supervisory role in offshore blasting and painting WORK

Huh bersepah keje,ni baru tahap general worker belum tahap engineer,officer,inspector and etc.so jangan cakap xde kje dalam dunia offshore nie...cuma layak or tak,ada rezeki or tak n yang sangat aku xsuka dengar ada strong cable or tak.haha maklum la dunia sekarang nie...so berdoa jela kalau ada pasang impian and cita-cita nak involve dalam dunia offshore nie.moga dimurahkan rezeki.insyaALLAH.
